I was working on the silk corset but half way through realized the gauge is off and it’s one size too small. After ribbing and restarting the project again, I have decided to make a shawl, with my beloved yarn Seasilk. Who can say “no” to Handmaiden’s seasilk? It’s the softest yarn ever! The shawl that I’ve picked is Shallowtail shawl, which is now a free pattern from the Interweave website. Go now and download it before the deadline! It has been on my queue forever, and my mom wants to make a shawl with her newest yarn from Frolic, so I have decided to knit together with her. Here’s what I have so far.

It’s a multi-colour one….hope it’s not going to be too distracted.
This is my love affair with Mr. Seasilk (shhhhh…..)
p.s. The summer Interweave is OUT!!! It has a lot of eyecatching patterns and they can be seen here.

Very elegant and very gorgeous!
(I think this yarn is exactly the same one that I was knitting for your shawl…. )
Gorgeous! I just got some Seasilk to make a shawl for my sister. I’ve never used it before but I can’t wait to start.
