My beautiful Plumetis Cardigan…
July 8, 2007 by angelknits
My Plumetis cardigan is done! It’s a pleasure to be a knitting tester for Sylvie. The pattern is easy to follow, it doesn’t take much yarn to make a mid/long sleeves (less than 6 balls each of 100 meters!), it’s knitted in one piece so no sewing is required. The important thing is the lace top makes me feel sexy! It’s a must knit and I just love my plumetis.

I made some modifications (Sylvie, hope this is acceptable from your standards!). Since my arms couldn’t take too much of the k1p1 (suffered from cramps!) so I switched into just st.st. I also made it longer so it fits my body better. Instead of long sleeves, or short sleeves from Sylvie’s pattern, I made it into mid-sleeves. The last but not least, I used bigger buttons and only 4 buttons.
Here’s the back picture:

My mom said the back of the cardigan just looks gorgeous…and I totally agree with her. Thanks Sylvie for letting me test your pattern!
Needles: 5.0mm & 3.5mm
Yarns: Kim from Needful in Purple, 5.5 balls

It’s very nice, perfect on you.
Thats looks great! I love the color and the ribbing on the waist gives you a tiny waistline, love the lace on the back too!
That’s gorgeous
A good fit, lovely mods, and a great colour on you
I’m almost done with mine too now - just some sewing and the button bands…
Wow, amazing, you are fast, and you can finish this off in just 2 weeks? (but you are not knitting everyday, that means, you use less than 2 weeks to finish it off.
)
Yeah, it’s sexy.
I love the holes section on the top, very nice.
OH, I also love the purple, it’s just gorgeous !!!!
Thank you all for the lovely compliments. I love the colour myself…it’s a beautiful purple that goes well with my other knits. Not to mention the top section with holes…it just makes me feel special wearing it.

[...] to be a knitting tester for Sylvie, so I put the blanket on the side again. Now that the plumetis cardigan is done, I was determined to only work on this blanket but nothing else. Oh boy, what a tough job. [...]
