Finished Drop Stitch Tank Top from Fitted Knits!
June 18, 2007 by angelknits
I guess my title said it all - I finished the drop stitch tank top! It’s a fun tank top to make with the drop stitch, and it was a fast one too because there’s no sleeves! I took other knitter’s advise and knitted it in round, and I just basically knit and knit stitch and purl the purl stitch, that’s all! I also placed stitch markers at the beginning of the row and also the end of the front. This step saves a lot of counting. When it comes to the neck line and armholes, I knitted them all together with three balls going on separately so I don’t even have to count how many rows I have knitted. It’s just a pain sometimes when my three balls of yarn got tangled. If you’re the Fitted Knits fan, don’t forget to check out their Errata because there’re corrections regarding this knit top too.

I modifed the front a little bit….instead of making button holes, I added just one button to the top edge of the v-neck so it’s like a keyhole. Here’s the back view…simple with drop stitch at the bottom and just k2p2 the whole way.

I love this top and it’s a perfect for this hot summer!
